Hello and thanks for checking out the Mosaic Institute website!

I am a mosaic artist. I was exposed to the art form at age 16 and have only looked forward, exploring possibilities and creating bigger and better public works with each opportunity. In 2015 I founded a 501c3, The Mosaic Institute of Greater Dayton, to become my vehicle for good. Our mission is to Inspire, Empower and Unify community through Art.

In our first year we created several smaller collaborative glass mosaic murals and made many donations to our community. But magic happened when we started installing porcelain mosaics in concrete. Our first big public project included five commemorative mosaic art blocks along with a bicentennial block installed in the sidewalks to create the 'Miamisburg Historic Walking Tour'. We have since been able to complete a collaborative mosaic involving over one thousand people in a single day. We have survived the creation of a 29 foot hopscotch game board by over eighty 7th graders! And we were called to lead the creation of an Oregon District Shooting Memorial mosaic onsite just 21 days after the tragedy as a means of art therapy and healing for our community. Bringing people together to create the artwork they live and play with is the most meaningful part of what we do. The beautiful interactive porcelain mosaics are a bonus.

We now have the ability to travel to other cities around the world and unify the entire area by going into the schools, government offices, recovery & treatment centers, correctional facilities, rehab services, social clubs and so on…. to create a large scale public works of art, literally bringing an entire community together through collaborative creation. Exciting!

The Mosaic Institute has grown into a team of amazing artists, musicians, creatives and people, who wish to do good for others. We are dedicated to our mission because we believe
